  • Luk_17:6 “If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this…. tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you” Anyone scheming to kill God’s children, stop, repent, or be uprooted and terminated or castrated to helplessly watch God’s children flourish and multiply in Nigeria

  • Every open or secret organization or network or alliance established to oppose the gospel, attack Christians and/or conquer Christian territories, be openly disgraced and dissappear
  • “You shall decree a thing and it shall be established” – Job 22.28 Everything and everyone necessary for the Church in Nigeria, Christians and Christian communities to live in peace and pursue their faith, be established; and those working against their living be crippled or disappear. Superior wisdom, tact, and organization for dominion and safe living permeate the Body of Christ
  • Every influence from outside Nigeria, fueling conflict in Nigeria and the unlawful capture of Christian territories, be cut off from Nigeria and crumble even in your home countries

PRAYER POINTS:

Exod 3.12  “Certainly I will be with thee”. Let us thank God for how firmly He has been with us, without which the Church in Nigeria would have been already consumed minced meat for the enemies of the gospel

Exo 3:9  “Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them” Let us thank God that the wickedness of His adversaries against His children is not lost on him at all.

THANKSGIVING & REPENTANCE:  Lam_3:22 “It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not” We know without a doubt that we as individuals, our families, the Church and Nigeria as a nation have been preserved simply by the mercy of God. Let us heartily thank the Lord. FOCUS OF THE WEEK:  The Body of Christ; the Church; for it is righteousness that exalts a nation; and the Church is the vehicle of God for righteousness. So Nigeria is critically dependent on the Church.

PRAYER POINTS:

Rom_1:16  “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation”. Salvation makes for righteousness and the gospel is the power of God unto salvation. Also, Psa_119:11  “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee”. The word of God in the hearts of men is the antidote to sin and evil. Let us pray that the Church be more vigorous in preaching the undiluted word of God across all parts of Nigeria; and teaching believers to study and meditate on the word of God

Eph_4:16  “.....Jesus Christ, From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, … makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love” Let us pray that every part of the Church in Nigeria and even every person will know their place and fulfill their place; thus strengthening the Body and avoiding needless, weakening rivalry and competition

Luk 19:42-44  “Saying, If thou hadst known…at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace!...For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, …because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.”  Israel sorely missed a its day in ignorance. Turkey did too. The Church in Nigeria was warned STRONGLY WARNED in 2014/15 of imminent but failed to heed. Let us pray the Church in Nigeria shall not err again; that a day of overwhelming evil will never overtake the Church in Nigeria in ignorance; but rather the Church will rise up henceforth and be true light and salt

Pro_14:34  “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Pa Elton prophesied that Nigeria will be corrupt (sinful) so much that our name will stink worldwide; but after that a new era of righteousness will follow when men will come to Nigeria to learn righteousness. Pray against everything that has sustained and encouraged corruption and sin. Decree a close of the corrupt era and call forth the latter glory era of righteousness in Nigeria

Psa_133:1  “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity….for there the LORD commands the blessing, even life for evermore. !” Let us pray against needless rivalries. Pray for a common vision and goal, as among the people that built the tower of Babel; even more as among the early Church; that God will command blessing of “life for evermore” upon the Church in Nigeria, i.e. continued existence and growth

THANKSGIVING & REPENTANCE:  God remains so faithful and mightily merciful to us His children, and to Nigeria. Give Him mighty thanks and praise. Ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all of your sins, those of your family, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to "turn from...wicked ways" and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron. 7.14). Seek God’s help for sustained righteousness in your life, family, the Church and the nation

FOCUS OF THE WEEK:  Arresting the evil of wanton bloodshed; that the land be no more defiled or enter desolation: Part 3. The blood is sacrificed on altars to achieve certain goals, through the enabling influence of satanic hosts in 2nd heaven contracted for the job. Consequences clearly laid out in scriptures automatically come into play. This and other elements pertaining to the sacrifices need to be addressed.

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Now we come to the SATANIC COVENANTS that have been made with these blood sacrifices. When the covenants were made they were stored in the 1st heaven Is. 51:16, from where they are being worked out daily in the land Ps. 19:1-6.
    • Let us pray, using Col. 2:14 to blot out the handwriting of those ordinances, and by that destroy all their out workings
    • Let us pray using Is. 25:7, asking God to destroy the covering cast and veils created over the land and people.
    • Thereafter, as a citizens of the 3rd heaven, with whom the God of heaven has made various covenants with, invoke the covenants relevant to the situation on ground and instruct the 1st heaven elements to execute them thus REPLACING the satanic ones. By this, the satanic empowerment is replaced by divine covenants (Key reference scriptures (Gal. 3:29 & Gen. 22:16-17; Gal. 3:13-14; Is. 60:18-22; Is. 61:1-12)
  • As believers, we are stronger than Satan’s spiritual entities Eph. 1:19-21; we are the STRONGER MAN. We now need to deal with the PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS behind those altars to which the blood sacrifices were made. Key principalities to be dealt with are:
    • satanic prince over Nigeria (Dan. 10:14)
    • principality behind the religion of the sons of the bond woman
    • prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2:2)
    • mistress of witchcraft (Nahum 3:4)
    • mystery of iniquity (1Thess. 2:7)
    • Mammon (Math. 6:24) &
    • the queens (Is. 47:1))

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Prayers to deal with the PRIEST AND PRIESTHOOD who midwife the blood sacrifices:
    • On the basis of Heb. 5:1, 4-6 and 1Pet. 2:5&9, let us establish firm grounds for effective spiritual action against bloodshed in the land by asserting our place as priests of the highest priesthood – Melchizedec, higher than Satan’s priests, and have now stepped up to take charge in Nigeria.
    • In that standing, like Elijah did in 1Kings 18:22-24, 25-29, 30, 36-39, let us command
      • That their anointing be drained i.e. their ability to minister with effect at their altars be nullified
      • their connection with the satanic principalities behind their altars, be cut off, making them unable to draw power down any longer
      • that they be de-robed; their existence as satanic priests be ended permanently 1Kgs. 18:40.
    • Having dealt with the satanic priests, let us now pray against their priesthoods:
      • That their priesthoods be decimated by God moving against them as He has said He would in Nahum 3:5-7 – discover their skirts upon their faces, show nations their nakedness, cast abominable filth upon them, make them vile, set them as gazing-stock.
      • Let total loss of patronage befall them through God making them to suffer loss of children and widowhood and all other things He has said in Is. 47:9-11.
    • Let us next deal with BLOOD SACRIFICES that have been made as follows:
      • Using Isaiah 44:24-25, let us ask God, Who frustrates the token of liars, to frustrate the sacrifices i.e. make the sacrifices ineffectual, bring them to nought and disannul them.
      • On the basis of Heb. 9:14, let us bring the superior power of the highest sacrifice – the blood of Jesus Christ, that our priesthood stands upon, to override all of their human blood sacrifices and by that, make it to be as if the satanic altars never received blood so that no power flows from them.
    • Next we need to deal with the ALTARS as follows:
      • Using the power of God made available to us as given in Eph.1:19-21, let us deal with the altars in the spirit realm and destroy them as God said in Ex. 34:12-13, Judges 6:25-26.
      • Let us ask God’s angelic host, as given in Ps. 103:20 to go through the length and breadth of our nation, Nigeria, to do same, making them non-functional any more.
      • Let us ask for a visitation of the LORD upon the altars with thunder, earthquake, great noise, storm, tempest and devouring fire as given in Is. 29:6.
      • Let us shut down the gate ways they constitute into our land for evil spirits for 1Sam. 5:1-4 (by visitation of God on Dagon)
      • Root out the altars as commanded in Jer. 1:10

PRAYER POINTS:

  • 1Ki_8:50 “And forgive Thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee” Blood has been shed and lives lost from many sources to which Christians and Church goers have contributed: approval of substandard building designs, use of substandard building materials to make extra gain, abortions, licensing of drivers without proper testing, rituals for political positions etc. Let us ask for forgiveness; let us cry unto God for mercy.
  • 2Ti_4:3 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears” Let us further ask God to forgive the Church, His servants and children, for every way we have diluted doctrines to accommodate and soothe wealthy and well-placed transgressors in the Body of Christ, thus multiplying iniquity
  • Mat 5:13-14 “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world.” Let us pray that God, in mercy, will strengthen the Church and make believers individually and collectively more effective light to show the right way and to expose and expel darkness; true salt to permeate all spheres of society and prevent decay and perversions
  • Pro 24:3 “Through wisdom is an house built; and by understanding it is established” Nigeria is reeling in unemployment, inflation, widespread poverty, poorly conducted elections, weak law enforcement etc rooted in the elevation and celebration of incompetence; and generally weak governance. Part of the result is the lawlessness and widespread recourse to evil imaginations. Pray to the Lord to give us competent leadership, effective and caring shepherds; and ask for God’s guidance that we shall know and do whatever is our own part to establish better governance

 

  • Psa 68:1-2“Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate Him flee before Him.  As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God”Call upon God to arise and decree in His name that unrepentant evil doers perish; that others be not attracted to join their ranks or continue in evil and bloodshed

  • Help for Unity: Gen 11:4 “And they said… let us build us a city and a tower, ... and let us make us a name,…And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language;… and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do” Ah, Lord God, nothing is impossible with Thee. Help me, mine, and all named by Your name to have one focus, one purpose, that God’s kingdom come, His will done, and His name glorified; and to be united in pursuit of this
  • Help to Be Wise & Strategic: Jas_1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and rebukes not; and it shall be given him” Ask God to give you, your family, and the Church help and strength to be wise, tactful and strategic in all spheres of life, surpassing unbelievers
  • Help for Dominion: Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it” Merciful God, the last days are here and Your word is true. Earnestly ask God for help and strength upon you, your family, and all who are named by His name in Nigeria for this prophecy to be fully fulfilled in Nigeria
  • Help for Effectiveness in Prayer: Zec_12:8 “In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them” Jehovah, Your children have been oppressed and suppressed so, so long. Please arise, help, strengthen and glorify Your name in this nation

PRAYING OVER THE WEEK OF February 19 - 25 (THE 8TH WEEK OF THE YEAR; AND THE 21ST WEEK OF NIGERIA'S YEAR)

A. PROLOGUE

February 19 is the beginning of the second seven weeks ( or 49 days) of the year running from the 8th to the 14th week. This is like journeying through the book of Exodus (the 2nd book of the Bible) and through the second seven books of the Bible (Ruth - Second Chronicles). In the book of Exodus, God battled Egypt to deliver Israel to serve Him. In the second seven books of the Bible, Israel struggled to remain loyal to God because of pressures and influences from nations around her. Whereas God delivered Israel in the book of Exodus, Israel served her enemies within the second seven books of the Bible. Her captivity is recorded in the 12th and 14th books of the Bible. This is a season to pray that you do not serve your enemies. It is a time to pray to be delivered from barriers and snares.

February 19 is the beginning of the 8th week of the year; and also the beginning of the 21st week of Nigeria's year. We shall be praying over this week as both 8th week of and 21st week.

THE 8TH WEEK
The 8th week begins with the 50 day of the year; the first of the seven Jubilees in the year. We are going to ask the Lord for things of the 8th week in this 8th week as Zechariah 10:1 tells us to do. "Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain... " The 8th is called 'new beginning' because it is the beginning of the second set of seven (8-14). The first of every seven is a new beginning. The 8th book and 8th chapters of the Bible give clue to the mystery of the 8th season. They reveal five things about the 8th season:

1. IT IS TIME TO MAKE A FRESH START

The 8th book and chapters of the Bible bear witness that the 8th is a new beginning - often following disaster and devastation. In Genesis 8, Noah and his family started a new earth. Israel went back to fight Ai after failing in the seventh chapter. Ruth and Naomi made a fresh start in the 8th book of the Bible. Israel made a move to become a monarchy in the 8th chapter of First Samuel. In Second Kings 8, the woman whose son Elisha raised from the dead returned home to restart life after escaping to the land of the Philistines for seven years because of famine.

2. IT IS A SEASON OF FAMINE

The 8th book of the Bible, Ruth, is about how Elimelech's family moved from Judah to Moab to escape famine; the disaster that befell them, how Naomi returned to Judah with Ruth after the famine. In Second Kings 8, Elisha directed the woman whose son he had raised from the dead to relocate from Israel for seven years because of famine. The destruction of vegetation and marine life is foundation for famine. In Genesis 8, God gave Noah an anti- famine blessing. Genesis 8: 22 says, "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease."

3. IT IS A SEASON OF RELOCATION AND SHIFT

In Genesis 8, Noah and his family relocated from the Ark to the new earth. In First Samuel 8, Israel moved from Theocracy to Monarchy. In First Kings 8, the ark of covenant was brought into the temple. In Esther 8, Mordecai took over Haman's office and house. In Acts 8, many believers left Jerusalem because of persecution and escaped to other lands. Philip went to Samaria with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The capital of Nigeria moved effectively from Lagos to Abuja in the season of the 8th National Leader.

4. IT IS A SEASON OF SACRIFICES

Noah offered sacrifice to God in Genesis 8. Genesis 8:20 says, "Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar". In First Kings 8, Solomon offered sacrifices to God to to mark the entrance of the ark into the temple.1 Kings 8:5 says, "Also King Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel who were assembled with him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen that could not be counted or numbered for multitude". In Revelation 8, prayers were offered to God as incense. The sacrifices of the 8th provoke divine blessings and visitations in the season.

5. IT IS A SEASON OF SECOND CHANCE AND NO CONDEMNATION.

In Joshua 8, Israel had a second chance to go fight with and defeat Ai. In John 8, Jesus gave second chance to a woman who would have been stoned for adultery. Romans 8 says there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Hebrews 8 is about the New covenant. The New Covenant is about second chance.

 

THE 21ST WEEK

The 21st week of Nigeria's week is the last week of the third 49 days (seven weeks) of her year. What does the 21st signify?

1. IT IS SEASON OF FULFILLING PROMISES

God fulfilled His promise to Abraham and Sarah in Genesis 21. Israel testified to God's faithfulness in Joshua 21. God granted the desire of His anointed in Psalm 21. The promise of New heaven and earth is fulfilled in Revelation 21.

2. IT IS A SEASON OF RECOVERY AND RESTORATION

Abraham recovered wells in Genesis 21. David recovered Moriah in First Chronicles 21. Jesus restored the temple in Matthew 21.

3. IT IS A SEASON OF MAKING "ALL THINGS NEW".

Although the 21st book of the Bible says there's nothing new under the sun, in Revelation 21, God declares, "Behold, I make all things new".

4. IT IS A SEASON OF EXPERIMENTS, MAKING DISCOVERIES, AND LEARNING

The 21st book of the Bible is about researches and findings concerning life. The 21st season is for learning about time. In Luke 21, Jesus taught His disciples lessons on times and seasons. The 21st book of the Bible teaches the mystery of time like no other book of the Bible.

 

5. IT IS A TIME OF JUDGMENT AGAINST WICKEDNESS

God judged Og and Sihon in Numbers 21, judged the house of Ahab in First Kings 21, judged Manasseh in Second Kings 21, and Jehoram in Second Chronicles 21. God visits the sin of bloodshed in the 21st season. Deuteronomy 21 is particular about this.

 

B. PRAYER POINTS

1. O Lord, deliver your people from disasters and from forced relocation in this 8th week. We shall not mourn as in the 8th book of the Bible.

2. O Lord, let the present pressures in Nigeria, the things the enemy meant against us, advance your cause in the land.

3. O Lord, remember, the humble this week; and make a way for the despised - as you did for Ruth in the 8th book of the Bible; for the Jews in the 8th chapter of Esther, for the woman caught in adultery in John 8, and for Samaria in the 8th chapter of Acts.

4. O Lord, command a positive shift for Nigeria in this 8th week of the year - in the economy, educational sector, in the political arena, etc.

6. O Lord, let our offerings of prayers, praise, and diverse sacrifices be precious in your presence as in Genesis 8, First Kings 8, and Revelation 8.

7. O Lord, let this week be a season to celebrate answers to prayer and delivery of promises as you did for Abraham and Sarah in Genesis 21; for Israel in Joshua 21, for your anointed in Psalm 21, and for your people in Revelation 21.

8 O Lord, this week, visit the wicked who waste other lives for their selfish interests and fears. Visit them as you visited Ahab in First Kings 21, as you visited Manasseh in Second Kings 21, and as you visited Jehoram in Second Chronicles 21.

9. O Lord, as Jesus cleansed the temple in Matthew 21, let this tabernacle of God called Nigeria be cleaned up and restored in line with the Divine Blueprint.

10. O Lord, as you led Israel to defeat Og and Sihon in Numbers 21, let every impediment to transition to a New Nigeria be dismantled in the name of Jesus Christ,

DAY 1

14th Feb.         Judgment on corrupt, immoral, and occultic Church leaders

  • Thank God for building His Church without spot, blemish, and wrinkle. Thank God that the Church is “pillar and ground of the truth”. Eph. 5: 26-27; 1 Tim. 3: 15
  • Thank God for giving power to His people to judge evil and unrighteousness in the body of Christ. 1 Cor. 5: 12 & 13; 1 Tim. 5: 20; Jude 3; 1 Cor. 6: 2 - 5
  • Decree fiery judgment of God on every Church leader that pollutes, defiles, and corrupts the Church of Jesus Christ. Mal. 2: 1 – 9
  • Pronounce judgment of exposure and instant dismissal on every Church leader using power of darkness in the Church of Jesus Christ, every Church leader in secret cult, and those trafficking with demons to work lying wonders. 2 Cor. 11: 13-15; Nah. 3: 4-6

15th Feb.         Judgment on those shedding the blood of saints, kidnappers, and terrorists

Three things defile a land and bring curses upon the people. These are: bloodshed, adultery, and idolatry. All the three evils are rampant in Nigeria.

The prayer today shall focus on bloodshed while tomorrow shall focus on immorality and idolatry.

  • Bring repentance to God for all the bloodshed in Nigeria through Islamic terrorism, ritual killings, kidnappings, armed robbery, cultism, gang wars, etc.
  • Pronounce judgment of God upon the sponsors as well as the terrorists who shed the blood of the saints and pronounce judgment on them. Rev. 16: 4-6
  • Pronounce judgment of God upon the foreign nations that aid and abet terrorism in Nigeria. As they have denied Nigeria peace, so shall peace be withdrawn from them. Ps. 83
  • Decree judgment on every Government official supporting genocide in Nigeria. Let God arise and judge them. As they have destroyed innocent lives, let the judgment of God be poured on them. Ps. 68: 1-3
  • Pray judgment of God upon satanic priests servicing satanic altars that demand human sacrifices in Nigeria for money ritual, political power, and fame. Judge all those evil altars and the evil priests servicing them. Ps. 11: 6
  • Take authority over every evil spirit demanding human sacrifice in Nigeria. Ask God to release Michael and his angels to drive these evil spirits back into hell. Ps. 35: 5-6
  • Shut every gate of hell opened by politicians and inordinate wealth seekers in Nigeria. Mt. 16: 18-19
  • Plead the blood of Jesus to speak mercy and forgiveness for Nigeria and atone for the blood calling for vengeance upon the land. Heb. 12: 22-24

DAY 3

16th Feb.         Judgment on immorality and idolatry in the land

According to a survey from a multi-national company, Nigerian married women constitute the largest group of unfaithful women in the world. This report was contested by some Nigerians. To worsen matters, Nigerian doctors confirm that 6 out of 10 children (60%) brought for DNA in Nigeria are not fathered by the man in the house.

Christian youths take the lead in pornography and in immoral shows. It is said concerning BBNaija that mostly Christian youths participate. Youths of other religions tend to stay away.

Apart from traditional idolatry, Nigerian Church is fast becoming idolatrous through the prosperity teaching which promotes covetousness. The Bible in Eph. 5: 5 and Col. 3: 5 confirm that in NT, covetousness is idolatry.

In a country that boasts of the largest Cathedrals in Africa and the largest gathering of Christians in the world, the reports of immorality in Nigeria are disgraceful.

  • Bring repentance to God for the immorality, uncleanness, and licentiousness in Nigeria in the presence of a Church well-endowed by God to prevent it. 2 Chro. 7: 14
  • Take authority over every unclean spirit operating in Nigeria, within and outside the Church, promoting immorality and all manners of debauchery. Isaiah 29: 6
  • Pronounce judgment on corporate organizations and individuals sponsoring immoral shows and programs targeted at the youths to lead them astray. Matt. 15: 13
  • Pray for God’s intervention that Government shall tighten regulations against immorality and perversion in the country and maintain strict control of the internet gateway to prevent defiling materials from having free access into the country. Is. 62: 6-7
  • Repent of the culture of idolatry in the country and rededicate the land back to God. Ps. 24: 1-3
  • Take authority over every demon spirit promoting idolatry and contending with the glory of God in Nigeria. Jer. 10: 11
  • Pray that ministers of the gospel shall cease promoting covetousness (idolatry) as prosperity message and return to the NT message of contentment. Eph. 5: 5; Col. 3: 5; 1 Tim. 6: 6-10

DAY 4

17th Feb.         Judgment on corrupt leaders looting the wealth of Nigeria – Job 20

Nigeria is mightily endowed by God with mineral resources and physical wealth. Unfortunately, the ruling class, from the military to the politicians denied the masses of the people from gaining access to the commonwealth of the country. It was reported in the media that in 17 years, Nigerian leaders stole N38 trillion from the national treasury. Presently, Nigeria is regarded as the poverty capital of the world.

There is the need therefore to pray down judgment of God upon the looters of the wealth of the country. They have become so powerful and influential that only God can judge them.

  • Use Job 20: 4-29 to pray for the politicians and all those who looted the wealth of Nigeria. Read it aloud and enforce the judgment upon all of them, including religious leaders who join them to loot the wealth of Nigeria.
  • Pray that a whirlwind of righteous indignation of God shall blow all over Nigeria and sweep away a generation of greedy and covetous leaders whose god is their belly.
  • Pray that God shall raise righteous leaders in the country who shall execute judgment on the looters of the treasury of Nigeria. Pray for the anointing of Jehu to be released upon Nigeria.
  • Pronounce judgment on the foreign nations that siphon the wealth of this country to feed their people while Nigerians wallow in poverty. Pray that Nigeria shall be delivered from their grip.
  • Pray that God shall raise a new generation of leaders who shall be bold and determined to resist any form of external domination.
  • Pray for the evil lead placed over the hidden riches of Nigeria to be broken open and that the resources God has prepared for this season will flow un-hindered into the vessels He has prepared.

DAY 5

18th Feb.         Judgment on politicians engaged in human sacrifices and satanic rituals to get political power.

The escalation of evil and lawlessness in the country is traceable to satanic rituals of politicians seeking political power at all costs. These evil men and women open spiritual portals for demons to infest the land. Only the prayer of the saints can stop them and reverse all the evils they have brought on the land.

“Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.”

Ps. 149: 5 – 9

  • Pray down God’s righteous judgment upon every politician that does human and satanic sacrifices and rituals to gain political power. Pray that their covenant with hell shall neither stand nor yield any result. Isaiah 28: 14 – 19
  • Pray that God shall release the heavenly hosts into Nigeria to drive all the demons summoned by politicians back into hell. Ps. 35: 5-6
  • Plead the blood of Jesus to nullify all their incantations, enchantments, sorceries, and divinations. It shall not stand neither shall it come to pass. Isaiah 7: 7
  • Pray that the power of darkness these evil people have summoned shall be punished by God and those evil spirits shall turn against those who summoned them.
  • Pray down divine judgment on satanic priests and priestesses servicing evil altars in the land where human sacrifices are offered for politicians. Pray that God shall cut off all the satanic priests and priestesses from Nigeria.
  • Pray that God shall speedily judge and cast down any minister of the gospel who calls the name of Jesus Christ to pray for evil politicians.
  • Isaiah 8: 9-10 Decree failure of every conspiracy to perpetuate evil in the land.
  • 75: 6-7 Pray that anyone who seeks promotion in Nigeria outside of Almighty God shall fail and whatever power he summons shall not work.
  • Cast down every political candidate that is projected upon Nigeria by sorcery and prognostication. Unmask every devil that is masquerading as statesman.

DAY 6

19th Feb.         Promotion of righteous men and women into positions of authority all over the country.

1 Sam. 2: 6-9 Magnify and exalt the Almighty God

  • 1 Chro. 29: 10-13 Worship God and magnify Him. Power, glory, and honor are in His hands. He determines who is promoted and prominent.
  • Micah 4: 1-2 – The time has come for the mountain of the Lord to be exalted above every other mountain in Nigeria. Let the sons of Glory be exalted in the land.
  • 105: 24 Pray that God will increase the righteous and God-fearing people in Nigeria and place them in positions of authority.
  • Ask the LORD to place righteous people on top of all mountains of influence in Nigeria.
  • Let all mountains of influence in Nigeria be subject to the righteousness, holiness, and truth of God.
  • Pray that henceforth, this land shall not give honor to evil and wicked people. Only people of integrity shall be exalted in Nigeria.
  • Lord, search out the righteous in this land and place them in positions of authority, as you sought David and placed him on the throne.

DAY 7

20th Feb.        Restoration of God’s glory into Nigeria

Pastor Elton delivered a prophecy many years ago that God said Nigeria shall stink globally due to corruption and evil, but the tide shall change, and Nigeria shall be known for righteousness and glory.

We have witnessed the first part of the prophecy. Let us pray the second part into manifestation.

  • Proclaim aloud Ps. 24 and call on the Lord of Glory to re-claim Nigeria as His property. Command every spiritual highway and gate of righteousness in Nigeria to open for the King of Glory to enter the land.
  • Isaiah 62: 1 - 4 – Pray that heaven shall not rest until the glory of God rests upon Nigeria.
  • Isaiah 62: 5 – 9 Pray that intercessors in the land shall receive fresh anointing to pray ceaselessly until Nigeria becomes a praise in the earth according to God’s prophecy.
  • Daniel 7: 25 – Pray away the spirit of weariness that is beginning to afflict many intercessors in the country.
  • Anything programmed into the heavenlies against the fulfillment of the will of God for Nigeria be cast down and destroyed, in the name of Jesus. Jeremiah 10: 11
  • Isaiah 60 – Proclaim aloud and pray.

Prayer MENU

Dearly Beloved of God,
This is the 19th week of Nigeria's 62nd year, counting from Oct-1, 2021. It is also the 6th week of 2022, counting from January 1, 2022. A servant of God raised some prayer points for the Coalition of Intercessors in Nigr (COIN) which includes several members of CSMN/AFD. This is another of those weeks when after going through those prayer points, it seems better that we all pray the same thing.

The outline is long but insightful. However, there is also an audio version. Again, some may prefer to skip the background information on the significance of the 6th week and the 19th and scroll down to just the prayer points. Whichever way, God Almighty bless us all as we pray and grant us grace and strength for impactful praying, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

PRAYING OVER THE WEEK OF February 5 - February 11 (THE 6TH WEEK OF THE YEAR 2022; AND THE 19TH WEEK OF NIGERIA'S 62ND YEAR COUNTING FROM OCT-1)

Every week has its thing; and everything has its week. We re going to pray that this week will give birth to what God intended for it. We are going to be praying over the week of February 5-11 as a sixth week and as a 19th week.

THE MYSTERY OF THE SIXTH WEEK.

God made man and land animals on the sixth day. He made man in His image and after His likeness. It means the land animals were not made in His image or likeness. God reproduced Himself on the sixth day because sixth season challenges are to be handled with the wisdom and power of God. The sixth book and chapters of the Bible are divine-power-passages in the Bible. In Genesis 6, God decided to destroy humanity. In Joshua 6, God gave Israel miraculous victories as the battled the Amorites and took over their land . In Judges 6, God awakened His image in Gideon to war against the Midianites. In
Second Kings 6, Elisha overpowered the Syrian troops that went to arrest him by prayer and the spoken word. In
Daniel 6, Daniel was in the den with hungry lions but they couldn't harm him. In Ephesians 6, we are called to stand against spiritual forces of darkness with the whole armour of God.

The sixth season is a season of reaction against people and things that do not bear His semblance. It is a season of war against rebellion. It is a season to dominate wickedness and ungodliness. The sixth book and chapters of the Bible bear witness to this. The sixth week is a book of Joshua week. It is a time to wage war with divine counsel. It is a time to fight the enemy in the name of God. In Genesis 6, God decided to destroy evil and wicked humanity from the earth. In Joshua 6, Israel began to battle against the Amorites with the supernatural overthrow of Jericho. Israel took over the lands of the Canaanites in the 6th book of the Bible. In Judges 6, God prepared Gideon to fight against the oppressive Midianites. In Esther 6, Mordecai began to rise and Haman began to fall. In Ephesians 6, we are to wrestle spiritual forces of darkness to defeat. In the sixth season, God ordains conflict between those who bear His image and those who do not. Abacha died within the sixth seven years of Nigeria. Saddam Husseini died in the sixth year of the 21st century.

 

PRAYERS FOR THE SIXTH WEEK

1. O Lord, let your image and likeness be seen in in your people this week.

2. Father, be merciful to us for the ways we have misrepresented you.

3. O Lord, this week, we declare holy war against the Amorites in the land as Israel did in the 6th book of the Bible.

4. O Lord, honour your faithful ones in Nigeria this week as you honoured Elisha, Mordecai, and Daniel . This week, exalt the humble and bring down the wicked and proud ones.

 

THE MYSTERY OF THE 19TH WEEK

The 19th week is the fifth week in the third seven weeks (49 days) of our year. It is the beginning of the New Testament side of the 3rd seven weeks of Nigeria's year. It is a book of Psalms week.

The 19th week is a time to rest in the Sufficiency of God. It is a time to trust God and boast in Him. The book of Psalm is about utter dependence on God. That’s also what the 19th week is about. The mouth of the Psalmist was never shut in this book. He was always praying, praising God, giving thanks, declaring the word and his faith in God, or encouraging others to acknowledge God.

In the 19th season, the wicked act very wickedly - as if there is no God. The words 'enemy' and 'enemies' are altogether used in 104 verses of Psalms; out of the 375 verses it is used in the entire Bible. The words 'wicked', wickedly, and wickedness are altogether used in 451 verses of the Bible; but in the book of Psalms alone they are used in 104 verses. Wickedness is a major feature of the 19th season. That is the reason Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed in Genesis 19. Sodomites raped a woman to death in Judges 19. Saul wanted to kill David in First Samuel 19. Jezebel threatened to kill Elijah in First Kings 19. Sennacherib, king of Assyria was up against Hezekiah and Judah in Second Kings 19. God judged him because Hezekiah prayed to God. God gave David victory over Ammonites and Syrians in First Chronicles 19. In Acts 19, the Word of God prevailed in Ephesus and God gave Paul victory over sorcerers and magicians. They surrendered their books for burning. In Revelation 19, the Lord is praised for destroying the great harlot that corrupted the earth by her fornication. So, this is a week to lift the banner of righteousness and raise our voices in prayer because of enemies and because of the wicked.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Raise your voice to adore the All-Sufficient God. Let us give thanks to Him and praise His name.

2. Lift up your voice against the wicked in the land - those whose power is in their weapons, those whose power is their position, those whose power is their money, and those whose power is sorcery.

3. Pray against fire disasters in the land this week.

WORD FOR THE WEEK

Ephesians 6:10-13: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. [11] Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. [12] For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. [13] Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Psalm 19:7-11 : The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; [8] The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; [9] The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. [10] More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. [11] Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.

WEEK OF TRIUMPH

This week of February 5 - 11 shall be a week of triumph over the wicked and enemies. Happy 6th week of the year! Happy 19th week of Nigeria's year.
