THANKSGIVING:  Psa_124:6  “Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth” Give God thanks and praise for frustrating the devices of wicked ones that have been devising mischief in Nigeria; for His great goodness, love, and power towards us, towards the Church, and unto Nigeria; thus preserving us.

REPENTANCE: Repent for all sins of you and your family, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to do better and to "turn from...wicked ways" that our land may be healed (2 Chron 7.14). Pray for a new era of sustained righteousness in your life, family, the Church and the nation

FOCUS OF THE WEEK:  Beseeching God’s help for His people to truly turn from their wicked ways, that the land may be healed decisively (2 Chron7.14); that the Lord would turn the captivity of Zion (Psalm 126)

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Psm 51.1 “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions” Pray for God to have mercy on Nigeria, especially on His Church. Psa_103:13  “Like as a father pities his children, so the LORD pities them that fear him.” O Lord pity Nigeria and especially, the Church – Your children.
  • Psa 51:2-4,7  “Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight… Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow” Acknowledge before God that we have been a sinful people; the ask God to wash us, cleanse us; purge us; deliver us; and help us live right.
  • Psa 51:5 “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” – Lay the truth bare before God that Nigeria was formed in sin and wickedness, many of us have idolatrous backgrounds just one generation back if not our very selves before salvation, live in territories and/or hail from hometowns steeped in darkness. Ask God to shine His light and deliver us.
  • Psa 51:6, 10  “Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom…. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me” Cry unto God to make known His wisdom in our inward parts; His wisdom which begins with true fear of God; His wisdom that righteousness will exalt us as individuals and as a nation far more than any clever manipulations in sin; His wisdom that we will always be better off with our Father than in any “far country”. Pray to God to renew a right spirit within you and all His children, to live exemplary lives of righteousness
  • Psa 51:8-9 “Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities” Ask God in mercy to lighten the deserved pain and anguish we have suffered for our misdeeds; and to heal, restore and glorify His name, as individuals and as a nation

Thank Him for the forgiveness He has granted us and pray for a new era of sustained righteousness in your life, family, the Church and the nation

FOCUS OF THE WEEK:  Appreciation for the Anambra State elections: not for the victory of anyone but that the elections held, without much record of violence or bloodshed, has been reasonably credible, and hell did not break loose in a state where so called “unknown gunmen have been rampaging so badly” that the nation’s Attorney General mooted the possibility of imposing a State of Emergency. That could have been the beginning of the collapse of democracy and onset of unconstitutional governance and “next level” oppression. God gave Israel victory over Egypt at the Red Sea, a whole chapter of the Bible went to praising God; He gave Hannah answer to prayer, and almost a whole chapter of the Bible recorded her praise and appreciation. These things are an example to us. Beyond the few prayer points below, praise God lavishly.

PRAYER POINTS:

Exo 15:1-2  “Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.” Bless the name of the Lord for thwarting the devices of wicked ones 

Exo 15:11  “Who is like unto Thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like Thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? “ Sing unto the Lord the song of worship drawn from this verse.

Exo 15:2-4  “The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation....  The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name. Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.” Thank God that all devices of the wicked ones, all evil plots to cause chaos and anarchy in the state failed, peace and joy have triumphed

Exo 15:5  “The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.” Pray that those who have failed will sink in Anambra and all over Nigeria and NEVER recover, never gain any inch of territory again in Nigeria, except they be purge of their evil ways and schemes

Exo 15:13,18  “Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.. The LORD shall reign forever and ever” Pray that the Most High will lead the Church and Nigeria from this point on

Let's bless the Lord for: the Gift of life, health, sound mind, the gift of Salvation, the blessing and privilege of relationship as God's sons and daughters - Bona fide members of God's family, confirmed citizens of God's Kingdom.

"Cast down but not destroyed.." – 2 Cor 4.9 Let's worship the Lord for despite great afflictions and anguish on the Church in Nigeria, the Church still stands. The gates of Hell have not and CANNOT prevail against the Church. Our national troubles and insecurities are causing more and more persons, believers and non believers alike to arrive at conclusion that SECURITY IS strictly the Lord's: "Except the Lord watch over a city, the watchmen watch in vain." – Psalm 127.1

REPENTANCE: Repent for all sins of you and your family, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to do better and to "turn from...wicked ways" that our land may be healed (2 Chron 7.14). Whatever we did as the Church or Nation to deserve the disastrous conditions we have today, let God have mercy. Lord, we are sorry. Your mercy, oh Lord on our Land, our Nation! Rev 12.11 “And they overcame by the blood…”: We invoke Blood versus blood. We make demands on the Blood of Jesus against the blood of animals and of the innocent, shed in Nigeria to cling unto power and keep the Nation under perpetual bondage. We decree termination of bloodshed and evil rule.

Psalm 22: 27, 28 Oh Lord, please become our Leader in a Nation that appears to have no leader.

Take Your place. Step into the Land as the Governor General of Nigeria, oh Lord. Ezekiel 22:39.

Isaiah 26.9: “…when Thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness” Arise, Father, in righteous judgment, slay every wicked man and woman sponsoring, supporting, masterminding and advocating evil and bloodshed in the Land.

Isaiah 2:1, 2. Let the Church, God's mountain, arise, awake/and take position again in Nigeria. Lord, please heal, unite and clothe Your Church with power and holiness.

Isaiah 8.9-10: We silence every voice calling for blood or war. All secret moves, seen or unknown, we command to be totally thwarted and frustrated, because God is for us. All sponsors and suppliers of ammunitions, we decree heavy confusion among themselves, let them turn on one another and finish off themselves. We arrest the killings in the Eastern part of the Nation.

Pray that the Anambra State election results will be the true verdict of the people; and there will be no subsequent hijack. Pray that, as God raised William Wilberforce and other Christians to end slavery, God will raise all necessary voices and sound minds to bring about all restructuring and constitutional changes to perfect democracy and stability in Anambra State and nationwide.

FOCUS OF THE WEEK & PREAMBLE: Governorship elections are due in Ànambra State this week. During the build up to the elections, violence and destruction in the state got so rampant that a top Federal official pronounced possibility of imposing a State of Emergency, which others later disclaimed. Nonetheless, the elections remain a C-R-U-C-I-A-L test for the immediate future of Nigeria, its peace, stability and democracy. It is a matter to address with the greatest possible focus and vigour in the place of prayer.

_*For the Lord will help me, therefore I will not be disgraced; therefore I have set My face like a flint. And I know that I will not be ashamed.*_ *ISA. 50:7*

Setting your face like flint connotes maximum focus on God, seriousness, and unflinching determination to secure answers to your prayer. Just as Jesus Christ our Master did, we are expected as faithful watchmen to be unflinching and unshakable in the discharge of this particular crucial assignment of 'delivering' Anambra State at such a time like this.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. *COL. 1:15-20*

Praise and affirm the Lordship of Jesus Christ over all creation in all of the 21 local government areas of Anambra State.

2. Proclaim that everything in Anambra State whether visible and invisible, thrones, dominions, or principalities or powers were created through Christ and for His pleasure. So the ownership is His.

Absolutely nothing is outside His creative authority, so decree that He alone will have the final say in that election.

3. Restate and declare the superior credentials of Jesus Christ for all creation in Anambra to hear:

- The first born over all creation *vs. 15*

- Creator of all things *vs. 16*

- The one who is before all things *vs. 17*

- In whom all things consist *vs. 17*

- The one who is the head of the Church *vs. 18*

- The beginning *vs. 18*

- The first born from the dead *vs. 18*

- The reconciler of all things *vs. 20*

- He made peace through His blood *vs. 20*

- The one that must have the Preeminence in all things *vs. 18*

Ask God for forgiveness and mercy on behalf of the Church in Anambra State. Confess and make atonement over the sins of disunity, denominational pride, love of money, prayerlessness, selfish ambition, deceit, hypocrisy etc

Repent and bring lamentation on behalf of the Anambra Society for sins and iniquities.

 These will include sins of Pride, witchcraft, idolatry, sorceries, worship of money, occultism, armed robbery, blood shedding, kidnapping, corruption, violence.

6. *REV. 12:9 / ISA. 25:7 / 2 COR. 3:15-17*

Pray to break and overthrow the veil of deception and confusion over the entire Church and the State. May the people see light through the light of God.

7. *ISA. 41:10-14*

Pray and come against the covering of fear that has descended over the entire people and the land.

Ask God to send help to Anambra State and to uphold her. Plead with Him to bring shame and disgrace to all the troublers of the land.

8. *ISA. 44:25 / JOB 5:12-14*

Pray that God will frustrate and disappoint all the volumes of satanic sacrifices and investments that have been made towards  this coming election. Invite God to stop those who will seek to disrupt and vandalize this election. May God catch them in their traps and craftiness.

9. *ZEPH. 1:12 / JER. 48:44*

Ask God to search the entire Anambra land to fish out all the wicked and unreasonable princes plotting to sell off the state in order to achieve their selfish ambitions. Let none of them escape this  season of their punishment.

10. *PSALM 10:15 / JER. 48:11*

Beseech God to target all His enemies who are bent on manipulating the system so that the wrong candidate will emerge. Ask God to cut off their horns and to break their arms.

11. *ISA. 44:28*

Ask God for the emergence of a Cyrus type of leader for Anambra State, who will build the State and do all the pleasures of God for the people.

12. *Psalm 121:4*

   Just like God is the Keeper and Proctector of Israel, even so bessech Him not to sleep or slumber over Anambra during this crucial season. Pray for wisdom and protection for all the electoral officers, accredited observers and the electorate.

13. *Psalm 46:1-11*

    Proclaim this Psalm over the people and the Land to procure a comprehensive insurance over the whole conduct of the election. Let the doors of calamities and deaths be shut.

14. *Exodus 34:5-6*

    Pray to secure that     6th of November, 2021.

   Invite God to descend in the cloud of His glory and mercy upon that day to hallow it. Let His  name  be fastened upon that day. Pray against any form of bloody confrontations.

  

16. *Psalm 68:17*

        Plead with God to dispatch His thousands and thousands of angels to cris cross the whole territory of Anambra land to quieten the state.

17. *John 17:21*

    Pray that the body of Christ in Anambra will work in harmony and begin to see eye to eye.

18. Psalm 65:1-2.

 Declare that mighty praise awaits God in Anambra state. He will surely have cause to rejoice over His inheritance in that land.

19. *Psalm 36:8-11*

  Pray to arouse God's jealousy over the people and land of Anambra. Ask that the above scripture be fulfilled in the state. May Anambra state be abundantly satisfied with God's fullness and mercy.

20. Pray that the election will be manifestly conclusive and the the outcome will not be enmeshed in unnecessary controversies. Give God  praise for answered prayers.

PREAMBLE

First week in November 2021, the gubernatorial elections are going to take place for Anambra State. The various candidates and their stakeholders have been preparing. Key amongst their preparations would have been helps that have been sought from the spirit realm they are affiliated to. The Bible says in 2Sam. 23:1-3 ‘… that he that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God’ …..’, such a man is the one that we have responsibility as children of God in the land, to ensure becomes Governor. Towards that end, let us pray from now on till the goal is achieved, as follows:

  1. In the Name of Jesus, you sun, moon and stars, that exercise dominion over the earth from the 2nd heavens by what is programmed into you by men, we children of God in Nigeria, seated in Christ Jesus in the 3rd heavens, at the right hand of God, far above you, Eph. 1:19-21, cancel and delete all covenants and ordinances established with you from the 2nd heavens, with regards to this coming Anambra state elections! Amen! By this deletion, all plans and actions, that have been put in place and executed based on evil covenants and ordinances, COLLAPSE, FALL APART and SCATTER, in Jesus Christ Name!! Amen!

In the name of Jesus Christ, we command all creation to reject all future programing and attempts to re-establish the covenants and ordinances that we have deleted. In Jesus Name Amen!  

  1. O God, as You said in Is. 25:7, come and destroy the face of the covering cast over the people, and the veil over the state of Anambra, by the enchanters and sorcerers, inside and outside the state, for the purpose of putting as Governor in Anambra State, he whom You do not approve of and You did not intend to be Governor, in the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!
  2. In the Name of Jesus Christ, we bring the speakings of the blood of Jesus Christ, upon all the sacrifices that have been made by Jazaniahs to become Governor, at whatever altar, nullify and silence all such sacrifices and by that frustrate and make these tokens and altars ineffective. Amen! Is. 44:24-25.
  3. O Lord God! As you did at the tower of Babel, Gen. 11:1-8, confound the language of the sons of the bondwoman and their foot soldiers and other stakeholders, that have gathered together for the purpose of seizing Anambra State governorship position, contrary to your mind in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen! Divide their tongue and make it impossible for them to execute their plans, in Jesus Christ Name. Amen!
  4. Let us now in agreement based on Mat. 18:18-19, decree that only he that would build the old wastes, raise up the former desolations, repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations in Anambra State, as given in Is. 61:4, would get to be established as governor of the state.
  5. Pray against all plans, sources, causes and agents of the devil to steal, kill, destroy, cause bloodshed or derail the elections. Pray that peace that passes human understanding will envelope Anambra before, during and after the elections.

In that day, I will avenge the blood of all the martyrs and the innocent ones whom they have slaughtered. I will surely do this thing for they have thought that there was no one to judge them. But I have seen their ways and I have heard the cries of the oppressed and of the persecuted and I will break their power and make an end of them” – Lance Lambert, Mt Carmel, Israel 1986

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Let us bless the name of the Lord. This prophecy was given when USSR was a global superpower. God specifically mentioned that He will break “the power of the Kremlin” and others who are still rebelling against the Lord. We have seen precise fulfillment of the breaking of the seemingly invincible and untouchable USSR. Bless the name of the Lord, thank Him Who watches His word to perform

 

  • “I will bring down their pride and their arrogance, and shatter them because they have blasphemed my name” O Lord our God, we wait on You. Pray that the Lord shall in mercy stretch forth His hand regarding the others rebelling against Him in Nigeria that were also mentioned in same prophecy and fulfill His word
  • “In that day, I will avenge the blood of all the martyrs and the innocent ones whom they have slaughtered. I will surely do this thing for they have thought that there was no one to judge them.” O Lord, O Lord our merciful God; how long, how long? Surely and clearly, “they have thought that there was no one to judge them” P-L-E-A-S-E arise now and avenge our adversary; lest any more are sent to IDP camps, killed or Churches destroyed
  • “But I have seen their ways and I have heard the cries of the oppressed and of the persecuted” Eternal Jehovah, You are a longsuffering God. A day with You is like a thousand years; but even in a year, thousands are destroyed in Nigeria hitherto. If You wait until Your children in Nigeria deserve Your intervention, we may be finished. Pray that the Lord will step in NOW, break these rebels, deliver the oppressed and persecuted.
  • “I will break their power and make an end of them” The word of God itself says that when judgment is delayed, wickedness multiplies in the land. “I will hasten my word to perform it.” – Jer 1.12 Perform now, please Lord. Cry unto the Lord that as He precisely fulfilled the word concerning the Kremlin, He should concerning other any other Government-led, Government-sponsored, Government-complicit rebellion against the Lord
  • Pray for decisive and speedy intervention of God in Anambra State….That there be no state of Emergency

  • Isa 61:1“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me”; Lord, the works that You did, You have ordained us to do also and greater works (John 14.12). Even so, Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh upon me, mine, upon Your Church in Nigeria mightily…even “upon all flesh” as promised in Joel 2.
  • Isaiah 61.1 “…the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek;…to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound” All the way from Britain Florence Nightingale opened the “prison” to millions bound in the “prison of ignorance” in Nigeria. Pray that God by His Spirit will make you, yours, and the Church in Nigeria preach the gospel unto rich and poor, rural and urban; to be a source of comfort to the brokenhearted in Nigeria including the vast population of IDPs rooted out of their legitimate homes; and to be way-makers and door openers to millions that are bound in ignorance, sin, drugs, and in injustice in Nigerian prisons awaiting trial
  • Isa 61:2  “To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn” Lord, Almighty God, let this be Your acceptable year for Nigeria’s transformation and emancipation from evil leadership, evil Jihadist imaginations, let this be Your year of vengeance for the long streaming blood of Your saints 
  • Isa 61:3  “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness” Pray that God will give Nigeria’s North East and North Central, Southern Kaduna, Benue and Plateau states cause to rejoice again; pray that He will give them beauty for ashes; that He will use you and the Church in Nigeria in every way we can ACT
  • Isa 61.3 “…that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” Pray that the gospel/the Church in Nigeria will produce more trees of righteousness, outside the pulpit, in the marketplaces and society, in politics, in universities etc; that God may be glorified as the society experiences the practical reality and goodness of the Lord; that God may be glorified in Nigeria, not mocked, resisted, and doubted. Pray that God will make you one. Call forth trees of righteousness in the corridors of power, that the righteous may rule and the people rejoice
  • Isa 61:4 “And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.” Only products and byproducts of the undiluted gospel can truly build, repair, and raise up Nigeria from its desolations. Again, pray that the gospel/the Church in Nigeria will produce such products and fulfill God’s purpose. Also pray that you will be one such builder and repairer in the spheres God has ordained you to occupy
  • Isa 61:7  “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.” O Lord, let double honour nullify shame, rejoicing replace confusion, everlasting joy burst forth, for me, my family, the Church and Nigeria 
  • Isa 61:11 “For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.” Agree with God: Righteousness and praise spring forth across Nigeria by the hand of the Lord

  • Psm 100:4  “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless His name” Let’s enter His gates this new year of Nigeria, not with requests or any lamentations but with praise….praise….& thanksgiving. We have so much to thank God for as individuals, families, the Church and nation. Count the blessings and His mercies and thank God.
  • Psm 124:1,6 “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us; then they would have swallowed us up quick… Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth” Really thank God that all plans of evil ones against God’s people have been continually frustrated
  • Psm 124:7 “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped” By faith in the words of diverse witnesses and prophetic voices, thank God that He has broken the siege, turned the tide and birthed a new nation. Thank God by faith that like a new dawn is usually dark but soon brightens up, Nigeria shall swiftly brighten up

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Thank God that Nigeria is not doomed to be corrupt forever. Thank God for the blood of Jesus Christ by which we have redemption, hope and assurance of transformation
  • Ask for God’s forgiveness and repent of every way in which you and believers in Nigeria have participated, aided or abetted corruption in Nigeria e.g. driving without appropriate papers and bribing the Police; collective contributions to pay examiners to let students undertake malpractices; agreeing kickbacks to get contracts etc. Truly REPENT – i.e. determine never to do such again

Stealing Nigeria’s resources, carting it abroad, and leaving Nigeria languishing is rape. When a person marries a land, he/she loves it passionately and no longer rapes. Pray that God will fill Nigerians with love for the land, cause the land to be married by her sons and daughters who will “husband” not rape Nigeria
  • Pro 24:3“Through wisdom is a house built; and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Ask God to give Nigerian leaders or raise new leaders who by wisdom, understanding and knowledge, establish policies, structures and institutions that will minimize corruption
  • Pray for God Who watches over His word to perform it, Who confirms the word of His servants (Isaiah 44.26), to have mercy and accelerate the fulfillment of the second part of Pa Elton’s prophecy, even as the first has been accurately fulfilled

MAIN FOCUS OF THE PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK: PSTR BENNY HINN 2019 PROPHECY:

''And the Lord declares,… the evil powers in Nigeria will be broken….I see two years before the power will begin to shatter in Nigeria. Two years, beginning two years, not now, not next year, not even year after, two years from today, two years from 2019, God will begin to defeat the purpose of Islam in Nigeria''.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Let's thank the Lord Almighty God His great love and mercy towards Nigeria, indeed issuing this word from far away Ghana. Also thank Him for remembering Nigeria in this season and time.  Psalm 95:1-5

2.  Believers in Nigeria ought to have taken this prophecy since 2019 and begun to war a good warfare so that by due date, the soil is thoroughly prepared. How much praying has been going on? It was circulated widely via social media after which almost all went to sleep. Let us repent for this lethargy and slackness. Ask God to forgive us; and to arise and have mercy on us per Psalm 102.13

3. Let us also again repent for every way in which the Church and believers in Nigeria contributed to give Jihadists and terrorists room to advance their evil cause, especially since 2015 despite clear warnings

4. Let's remind the Lord that He promised that in two years beginning from 2019, “the evil powers in Nigeria will be broken…the power will begin to shatter in Nigeria,…God will begin to defeat the purpose of Islam in Nigeria” - Psalm 119:49-50: “Remember the word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for Thy word has given me life”. Appreciate His faithfulness regarding His words.

5. Plead with God to remember the covenant of redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ; to hear our cries, see the daily brutal killings, abductions, displacement and replacement of millions from their homelands who are now IDPs; criminal ransom demands and extortions, oppression, and bondage from the Miyeti-Allah, Boko Haram, ISWAP, and curious bandits. As He remembered Israel in Exodus 2:24-25 “And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant…And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.”  Today, “if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Gal 3.29) and we are “the Israel of God” (Gal 6.16). Ask God to have mercy, hear our cries, and come down as He did for Israel in Egypt

6. O Lord as you spoke and promised through your servant Pastor Benny Hinn, in the year 2019 from Ghana, we beseech Thee to show forth Your power and break into pieces the evil powers in Nigeria, and defeat the purpose of Islam in Nigeria. Psalm 107:6, Romans 9:17
